In 2008, a USB drive found in a parking lot led to one of the worst cybersecurity breaches in U.S. military history. An unsuspecting soldier plugged it into a classified network, unleashing a worm called Agent.BTZ, which spread rapidly. This forced the Pentagon to launch "Operation Buckshot Yankee" and rethink its cybersecurity protocols.
