Today's #TuneTuesday theme is #CoolestCat. Here are a few of the first songs that I came up with, all from the 1960s:

<sigh> Well, looking at different versions of #BoyFromNewYorkCity." Just heard the one by a group called Darts from 1978. I give it the "meh" award. The backup vocals were better than the lead vocals, not too crazy about the instrumentation. So, 1st to third as far as preferred versions, #Darts, a distant third, #Adlibs second, and the ultimate fersion, #ManhattanTransfer, Barr, fucking, none. That is all.

Working on a fun site that takes text and replaces words with random words of the same parts of speech just to entertain my need for silly chaotic texts, hehee.

Replace the parts of speech in any text with funnier ones

Well, my opinion after all these years is stil the same, even after doing a bit of stripping. #ManhattanTransfer did a way better version of #BoyFromNewYorkCity than the #Adlibs who did the original. More filled in harmonies, and just that right amount of umph that makes yuh wanna crank it up!
