In #AnimalCrossing the retail value of the donation box increases 1:1 with the money inside of it.
Though Nook's Cranny has a randomly selected hot item of the day. That item can be sold for double it's normal price, that day only.
So if the donation box is the hot item of the day. You can effectively stuff it with currency and get two bells for every bell you put into it.

It is a very cute island with a lot of different things to see, tons of adorable flower setups, and such great use of waterbodies for the layout.

Two more small comments about Pokopia. Zero spoilers.
As any good game does, it does ramp up the complexity over time. So if early game is boring, just hang in there. It won’t take long.
Second, it does *not* hold your hand like you might expect, especially for Pokémon. You have much more freedom than you think (this means many things, but again no spoilers). It’s just mainly on you to discover.

Day 1: This is cute. A little #acnh flavor. The plot is a cute premise, too.
Day 2: I didn’t know I needed #minecraft in the #pokemon universe. Materials are easy to get and the projects are kinda fun.
Day 3: ARMY CORPS OF ENGINEER SIMULATOR IS AMAZING. IT’S CLEAR TO ME DAY 4 IS FACTORIO AND I CANNOT WAIT
