Okay, tech question: Shouldn't my #WAX6e #netgear #axe7800 connect with my #appletv #a2843 on 36e?

I bought this thinking they would. But the appletv doesn't see it nor connect if i enter the 6gz's wifi name!

Help!

Just finished installing the #Netgear #WiFi 630 6E #AXE7800 and can't say enough how much better my home network is by separating out the 2.4gHz, 5gHz, and #6gHz bands.

Those awful 2.4 devices that can't (won't) do #5gHz go on their separate radio and SSID - no longer causing issues with 5gHz devices bouncing down to 2.4 and never back up to 5.

Also, the 2.5mbps #backhaul of this device is amazing! REALLY helped my #network devices. No more #AppleTV buffering issues, and #iOS devices just FLY!

#WiFi & #network junkies: I am buying this: #Netgear #WAX630E #AXE7800

It's a behemoth at ~10.5" square. I *wanted* to mount it on a wall, but I don't know the coverage the antennae provides.

I am "used" to thinking laying an #AP flat would create a wifi dome above it & therefore putting one on a wall will create the same dome in front of it AWAY from the wall but this would mean I'd have to find one end of the house to put it on.

Does anyone know how this unit spreads it's bandwidth?
