Well, that was… interesting. #AWildLastBossAppears
There was some subtlety to that episode of #AWildLastBossAppears…there’s evidently some perception/memory fogging going on with Luphas as part of the isekai and they’re kind of becoming aware of it but still haven’t worked out the right questions to ask to clear it.
In the meantime, everything not broken is suddenly on fire so that will distract them for a bit. :)
And even then it was mostly in passing. So…I’m honestly not sure how to react to this…it’s not actively transphobic framing, but I can’t say it’s good framing either.
It kind of just…is?
OK, so it turns out that the MC who was reincarnated into the female avatar of their PC was originally male…and it took 5 episodes for this to even come up as a character point. Kinda. Sorta.
And it took a hot springs scene with another, female character for it to be mentioned at all.
