Sakaiza mandry an-day, ka mifankalaza
“Lovers who lie down in tents, will celebrate each other”
Fact number one: camping actually didn’t become an affordable activity in Madagascar until the early 2020s, but by 2023 or so, it has become mainstream enough that there are multiple stores selling camping supplies in Antananarivo.
Fact number two: it took me a little bit to come up with a title that sounds like a typical Malagasy proverb, but isn’t actually one. Imagine if it had been one, though.
Pun number one: yeah, yeah, this scene is fucking in tents.
Hurr hurr!
Pun number two: “lay” is the Malagasy word for a tent. So yup, these two here are getting lay’d.
Double hurr hurr!

Anyway, merry Christmas, everyone! May you find activities today that you will enjoy as much as Onja and Mijoro here do.
Dihy tsy misy sakana
“Dance without obstacles”
I was lucky enough to win a raffle from @Spottystuff, so heeeeey, everyone gets yet another drawing of Mijoro this month!
… the fact that Spotty and I both ended up drawing him with his dick juuust barely out of sight is pure coincidence, promise!
His costume here is based on the “traditional” (actually 19th century) garb of Hira Gasy performers, except a little freer down there. Yeah, Mijoro would totally do that for a select audience.
Character is mine, art is @Spottystuff’s.
FITO AMBY ROAPOLO
(“Twenty-seven”)
Similarly to Onja, I decided Mijoro’s first public appearance in my art was his twentieth birthday. So this year, on November 11, 2025, he turned twenty-seven.
Meaning that y’all get a pinup picture of him to match his husband’s.
As with the earlier drawing featuring Onja, the background here is a photo I personally took several years ago. In this case, my birthday in 2018.
Sometimes, Martin is the one who comes home with an overwhelming urge.
Why — on those particular days — he somehow always finds Ace working on the plane wearing nothing but his fur, is an exercise best left for the reader’s imagination.
Afakafaka Aho Mahita
(“I spy with my little eye…”)
Holy crap, I really did spend over two months of this one, most of which was trying to get those goddamn reeds to look halfway right.
Also, believe it or not, this is inspired by a real-life scene I saw as an early teenager that made me go “HEY, WAIT A MINUTE” in my late thirties.
Enina amby roapolo
“Twenty-six”
Ugh, this drawing was supposed to be done one week ago.
Back in 2019, I browsed some photos I’d taken while on vacation the year before, and noticed a rather nice-looking young man appearing in several of them. Not one to waste eye candy, I redrew one of the photos into a new character, whom I soon named Onja (wave) because I’d drawn him standing in front of some crashing waves.
Much later, I decided on a whim that the day I first posted that first drawing was Onja’s twentieth birthday.
So, this year, April 2, 2025 was Onja’s twenty-sixth birthday.
This is his gift to his husband for the occasion, but hey, y’all get to have it too!
Otter Bath
I don’t have much to say about this one, except that this scene most likely happens shortly after this one.

Areto Vetivety Kely Monja
(Bear it just for a little while)
The sheer thrill of anticipation is getting to Onja, and Mijoro knows it well.
Also a semi-pun on
