thoughts: a quintessential early 90s UK electronic album. if you like this era of electronic music from great britain, please listen to this absolute classic. while not my favorite album from this decade, country, nor genre. it feels like a must listen nonetheless. its very solid and has some banger songs. i was initially let down by its decent A side, but its B side did a lot of heavy lifting. had it only been the a side it wouldve been a low 7 for me. to no fault of the record, ive heard better from around the same time this record was released

thoughts: i was in a hurry at a local record shop bc another xenosister had got us some chinese takeout. i didnt want the food to get cold so i saw this and grabbed this with my coltrane album. while i was not as impressed with it as i thought i would be, id argue thats mostly due to two songs from this album being played to absolute death on classic rock stations. if you like this music its a must buy for early 80s rock. its still worth a pick up if you can find it for cheap. i still had fun with this and will probably check out their second album cargo also.
score: 7/10 (i was gonna rate it a low seven but the closer song down by the sea really bumped it up). its honestly pretty solid. i just wasnt feeling it on its first listen but again i think its just due to down under being overplayed (i really like who could it be now and always loved that song)
