Like the cheesy "artistic" filters pioneered by Instagram. I could type more, but honestly, I don't have the will or strength to do so.
I’ll never try to join another online #artcommunity. They are always a lot of #artists that are ignored and a handful of top dogs that act like assholes who are above all the wannabe plebs. Also, I’ve never felt any connection to other artists. You know, artists have been the tools of capitalists, religion, tyrants, and fascist since forever. Think different my ass. Artists aren’t creative, misunderstood introverts, they’re self-centred, selfish narcissists. That and the mindless hate of #aigeneratedimagery just turns me off. #mastodonart

Chris BorenFor sure there are some ethical and moral questions around AI artwork and the datasets used to train the models, but from what I’ve read so far the loudest voices demonizing these tools are individuals who don’t understand the technology.
At it’s core it’s similar to a person spending hours looking at publicly shared artwork they admire, and learning how to incorporate that style into their own original work. The models themselves contain no image data.
steve cooleyok well I figured out a brittle #DiffusionBee UI macro workflow with Keyboard Maestro to help save the images less manually.
