A few months back, a bloke I worked with was really fucking pushing for the studio to implement AI into #VFX, all FOMO like. Constantly sharing AI news and made fun of the #artstation #AIprotest as being "Luddites" in company chat. All the "adapt or die" and "no difference than human learning" talking points. Not a thought about the nuances.

Dear artists and allies,

I guess most people are aware that AIs are trained on copyrighted images without consent, compensation or credit for creators, that names / styles can be prompted and used commercially.

This is unethical, and as long as there's no regulation, it's up to all of us to fight these practices. Here's a list of what we can do right now:
