It is quite possible that there are already enough #ADTPro tutorials out there, but like I said before, I want to give back to the
#VintageComputing community. So, here's my take on it.

How to set up ADTPro to send software to the Apple IIe (best audio settings)

YouTube

I decided to use my old #MacBook Air 2012 to copy software to the #AppleIIe via #ADTPro. There is, of course, another setback.

Bootstrapping works perfectly, but when it comes time for the Mac to listen to the commands coming from the Apple IIe, nothing happens.

🙄 I'll figure it out eventually.

The #Commodore #retrocomputing community doesn't seem to have coalesced around a particular disk transfer method (as far as I can tell) like the #AppleII community has coalesced around #ADTPro; however, there's a tool that I'm liking a lot, so far, cbmlink.

I am using it with the "pc64" parallel port cable, which is admittedly harder to come by on a "modern" PC than a serial port, but that's not a problem for me.
