Matt walked along the beach and saw Kabuki and Stitches chatting. This should be good, he thought to himself. As he walked over, he heard Kabuki say, "It might toughen you up if you wan to use more...colorful language."

Uh oh, Matt thought, I know where this was going. He certainly did not.

"Colorful?" Stitches said, "I love it. I'll talk about your red stripes or Nam's blue shirt or all the pretty colors of your holiday sweater!"
Kabuki just shook his head and said, "No, that's..." he stopped himself mid-sentence. "That's fine, kiddo. You do you." Kabuki smirked and walked away. He knew it wasn't going to make any sense to try to explain it to Stitches any further.

Past couple weeks, I've tried something new with sharing my Animal Crossing screenshots.

I've taken a single panel and created a story about it. This has been fun, but it's taken up more than one toot per story.

I...can get carried away. Easily.

But still. A fun exercise in silliness.

She immediately jumped in the air in what almost looked like sparkles above her head. The fever immediately broke, the sweating had ended, and she was smiling broadly.
"Thank you so much, Matt! Here's something for your efforts! I'll be back to work later." She handed Matt a package and he shrugged.

As he walked outside, Matt opened the package. It was a firefighter's outfit...

Matt walked by the farm and into Agnes house. There she was, walking around sweating, red faced, and in pajamas. He put on a mask quickly from his pocket as he spun around.

"You okay?" Matt said.
"No, I'm sick. I think I'm dying," Agnes said in a weak voice.

Matt pulled out of his surprisingly deep pocket a white pouch with barely readable letters on them. He handed it to Agnes...

Matt was sitting in the office waiting patiently. Agnes was never late. If anything, she was aggressively early. She got up at the crack of dawn to tend to the farm, then over to the main office as Resident Representative. Every. Single. Morning. But today, she was an hour late. That was unlike her.

Matt picked up the phone and called Agnes' house. He heard vague sniffling on the other and then a quick hang-up. Let me go check on her, he thought to himself.

Matt left the office and walked through the town. Stitches tried to wave him down, but Matt didn't have time for whatever conversation Stitches was going to pull him into.

"Alright, buckle up, hashtag. You see I decided to buy flowers for a friend. But, then I thought to myself, wait, what do these flowers mean? Are they romantic flowers? Sibling flowers? Friendship flowers? Is this friend going to think I'm a creep if I send them? I spent so much time thinking over what the flowers could mean, I ended up forgetting to buy the flowers! Can you believe it?" Yes, Matt could believe it. This is not the first time this happened to Raymond. He overthought everything.

"I've got more gossip!" Raymond said, but Matt had his fill for the day. After shaking his head no, Matt said his goodbye and walked off to show off his fantastic outfit.

Matt had decided to get decked out today. It was Saturday. Why not wear all of your pirate gear from Gullivarrr? he thought to himself. Then he ran into Raymond. Raymond was smirking. He was often smirking. This was a cat who loved gossip.

Raymond leaned in and said, "You ready to hear some classic Raymond drama?" Before Matt even had a chance to respond, Raymond went right into it.

Thank you to everyone who voted, commented, shared, or just followed along with my self-indulgent, silly election story arc. More will be coming as I update the island based on Agnes' campaign promises.

All the ballots have been counted and the new Resident Representative on Moduland is...Agnes!

She received two calls congratulating her from Walt and Ankha. Arthur could not be reached for comment.

She has gotten immediately to work with her chief of staff, Raymond, and met with important Moduland figures to get things moving.

I think she'll have a good term as Resident Representative. Even if I still have to do everything.
