I had such a fun time at #ACB25 I spent most of the time being with my best friends in @bitsacb which was amazing! I can't wait to see everyone next year!
Oops. Looks like I missed #ACB25. Down side of being sick is that you don't pay attention to many things going on outside.
I am attempting to post this while eating my delicious chicken tenders, so apologies if dictation gets some of what I've said wrong, as I'm being very bad, and tooting with my mouth full, but I'll use my greasy fingers to fix my corrections if necessary when I have a moment, but man is this chicken good! Yum! Yum! Yum! However, that's not what I came in here to talk about, even though they are delicious. I wanted to let you all know, that tonight at 7:00 PM Eastern, 6:00 PM Central, and 4:00 PM Pacific, the streaming server I affectionately call, Private Server 102, will be streaming back to back to back, all, 28 recordings I made while attending the #ACB25 / #ACB2025 convention, everything, from going through airport security in Bakersfield on July 1, 2025, up through my sample of the presentation of the described movie of Wicked on July 9, 2025. It will be followed by the movie, Wicked, in full, minus the ACB convention audience noise. This presentation will take over 21 hours to stream in total, not wrapping up until sometime within the hour of 4:00 PM Eastern, 3:00 PM Central, and 1:00 PM Pacific tomorrow afternoon. I will be archiving it, should you not be able to catch the whole thing as it airs, and because I'll be relocating to a friends place and checking out of the hotel while it airs, my good friend @celrock in Pittsfield has agreed to run it on my behalf. She's been extremely helpful with some things I asked her to do while I've been busy at convention, including keeping all of the recordings safe in our Dropbox folder, and for that, I am grateful, as it's one less thing I've had to worry about, knowing my recordings will be safe while busy at convention and having fun. Just goes to show you, when she's calm, she's a decent, kind, helpful, friendly human being, to put it simply. Anyway, if you would like to listen to the recordings, please put this link into your media player of choice. http://wroe698.com:8000/radio.mp3 You can even tune in early and enjoy Christmuse in July, provided by the 24-7 automation system on Azuracast when nobody is live, between now and 11:59 PM Eastern on July 31, 2025. and yes, it is nothing but Christmas music, something I absolutely love, no matter the time of year. Anyway, hope you enjoy the recordings, and feel free to reply to this toot should you tune in, and have any feedback, comments, or questions. Anyway, I am going back to eating these delicious chicken tenders, Mmmm, Mmmm, Mmmm, so I can finish up and head back to my room, where I'll relax for the evening, and enjoy what I can of the streaming of my recordings, before I have to pack my stuff, checkout, and relocate tomorrow. Was going to pay Reunion Tower one final visit, but when I saw thunder storms were in the forecast, decided to not take the chance. Glad I got to visit there twice, both times were recorded and will be featured in this presentation amongst other stuff. You all take care, and have a good weekend.
Eating my final bit of chicken tenders here at #ACB25 and though most folks are gone from our group, this is my recovery day, I check out tomorrow and my convention extension activities as I call them shall begin as I will be hanging out here in the Dallas area some more.
Thanks to all who posted convention details and descriptions of their experiences from #ACB2025 I haven't been to an ACB Convention in a number of years and I really missed being in Dallas this year. Attending virtually was good, just not quite the same as being there. For those who were at the banquet, did you know ACB Media broadcast like thirty minutes of you guys eating? That was pretty funny audio to listen to. Someone said something about short ribs, sounded delicious! Anyhow, hope everyone had an awesome convention week and I hope to be in St. Louis next year. #ACB25 #ACB2025
This could be the last meal I have at coffee's post here at the Hyatt in Dallas. Unless I have breakfast down here tomorrow, because I'll probably hit up the Centennial restaurant upstairs for lunch tomorrow so I can have chicken tenders. Anyway enjoying a pepperoni pizza and some chips with soda this afternoon. #ACB25 #ACB2025
Thanks #ACB25 for some fun days of connectiong and fun, had a blast being my state's primary delegate and serving on my first nominating committee Thanks for the opportunity
@bookshare @DavidGoldfield @nationsblind Sorry not to see #Bookshare at #ACB25 this year. Also sorry to see many exhibitors leave #ACB25 after only a few days. I guess that’s what happens when both conventions are during the same week.
@baxaphobia @Lisasali Actually one of the best humans I’ve ever met. He went out of his way to say hi to me at #ACB25 I was surprised to see him there, and told him I thought he had retired. His response? I did, but I didn’t die.
Home after a week in Dallas at #ACB25 Overall it was a fun week but I’m wondering if I’m not liking traveling as much as I used to. I enjoy things once I get there, it’s the actual traveling part that’s getting hard for me. No fun at all at the very least.
