Countywide Alert Test
Alameda County Office of Emergency Services, in partnership with local cities throughout Alameda County, will conduct a regional Alert and Warning Exercise on May 12, 2026.
Over the past several months, Alameda County and partner jurisdictions have worked together to update emergency notification procedures, improve message templates, integrate current technologies, and incorporate lessons learned and best practices from recent disasters throughout California and the nation.
This collaborative exercise will allow emergency personnel and authorized message senders to rehearse the use of emergency notification systems and strengthen coordination between local agencies before the upcoming summer and fire season. Residents may also receive additional preparedness messaging from their local city or agency as part of this coordinated effort. #emergency #preparedness #ACAlert #ALCO #AlamedaCo #CA
