Last night, we headed just under an hour up the road from Warrnambool to Darlington's Mid-Western Speedway for the special Pro-Am night held by POWRI Australia for 600 Micros (wingless Formula 500's).
Darlington is between Mortlake and Derrinallum on the Hamilton Highway.
It was a warm night, and POWRI put on a great show on the new 1/8 mile Micro track.
Kerry Madsen was a special guest driver in the 88 car.
There were two sets of heats and mains, with plenty of great action. Ash Sinclair took out the Senior 40 lap feature after Aranyosi and Hollis both fell out of the race whilst leading.
The night finished at 11 pm, after kicking off at 7pm. It felt like a quick evening with only a short interval for track prep and a 10 minute red light to fix the pit gate.
