*lol* partner's father (possibly unsurprisingly 🤣) liked the painting, so I quickly used a second hand frame and some yellow paper so he can hang it in his workshop to make himself hungry 🍳

First entry in #52ArtWeeks - late, but I started!
Not all experiments work out, but I learned a lot with this one:
- the brown liner disappears! I can't rely on it holding the drawing together as much as black liner.
- I absolutely need a daylight lamp on my desk
- not sure the small color palette is good for food pics (it's amazing for urban sketches)...
- bacon (&thibgs with a lot of color variation) is hard, especially on postcards!
So… Maybe I forgot about this and started a week late and maybe that week was a bit stressful… but here I am, I'm doing 3D-stuff again :)
This is more of a warmup model but I'm okay with how this turned out.
And holy blender has added some new stuff since I was gone, apparently I can now delete all my rotational array markers, hooray!
In other news, why can't I apply a shader to an object that I made with geonodes? Blender moment time I guess…
I need to do more art - and at least for me, challenges do work well. So: 52 art pieces in 52 weeks.
Anyone else wants to play along?
You can define what art & when your 52 weeks run. Mine are 1 June 2026 to 31 May 2027. And I want to focus on the watercolour paintings, not on the digital doodles.
