No it doesn't. Updates would obviously break the modifications, but what's the point of using Windows LTSC if updates are disabled?
This may be just me, but an old OS on new hardware does not look nostalgic at all. Use a virtual machine or an older computer with real Windows 7 if you don't care about security updates. (Hence the "2 Become 1" Acer Aspire laptop I set up two years ago)
