Our student Matthias Nowoczyn presented his bachelor’s thesis at #24polpsy.

He and his colleagues found that newspaper articles can slightly update second-order emotions, without affecting climate action intentions 📰😠🪧

Soft repressions increases anger (😠), leading to protest continuation, while hard repression increases fear (😨) which surprisingly also motivates protest participation.
