Ultimately it’s up to railroad workers. BUT union bosses unfortunately have a vested interest in keep their treasuries together, it would have to be rank and file led & supported by every major union. That’s what it would take and imo it’s worth it, otherwise labor is always going to face an uphill battle and waste resources.
I support a #RailroadStrike regardless of legality. This is a moment to challenge the status quo of the anti-worker National Labor Relations Act & Railroad Labor Act by beginning talks of launching a wildcat strike & solidarity strikes. If one group of workers can be denied the right to strike (again!) all workers can be denied. This is an existential threat to unions, playing by all the rules and laws will not advance the labor movement. Focusing on just electing dems is and has been a mistake.
