@nicemicro and you are right, there’s no “hammer” in yellowhammer. It is a distorted form of Germanic “ammer”, as in German Goldammer, and it means a bunting.

@Cyanistes miałbym bieliki pod nosem, gdyby wypalił mi plan przeprowadzki na Łużyce. Ale nie wypalił i przeprowadzam się ciut gdzie indziej, gdzie nie ma bielików pod nosem.
Za każdym razem, kiedy widzę ogłoszenie o zaginionym kocie, czy przyklejone do latarni, czy w lokalnej grupie w sieci, moja pierwszą myślą jest: kiedy oni się wreszcie nauczą, że trzymanych w miejskich mieszkaniach kotów nie wypuszcza się na zewnątrz?
