@waldoj It's our semiquincentennial, apparently.
@waldoj The rest of these are about the 250th anniversary of the signing of the declaration of independence, maybe this one is, too?
@palewire Cool, which models?
@brianboyer Makes sense. Clipping wasn't really a thing in the way it is now.
@brianboyer I guess they do that now, and it works! The video adds a ton here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k1KLRH22LTI&list=PL_hBoyeUT5njGiwtkQMm5sfWQ0eMROHnm

@brianboyer I'm trying to mentally wrap my head around a world where Joe Rogan is beaten to this by Terry Gross.
@brianboyer Was there ever a thought about video recording some of the interview shows, the way podcasters today do?
@palewire I did see his signature on almost every NPM package for that org, so that figures. This sort of thing is possible with a monorepo, but whether that's worth the overhead probably involves some calculation about how much Reuters really wants anyone to use a map with their tile set.
@palewire I wonder if this gets more adoption if major components like this are also broken out as separate libraries, e.g. `@reuters-graphics/svelte-tile-map`. Right now it's like 50% house style/furniture and 50% potentially usable by others.
@tylrfishr This is very cool, but I was like "what's standard.site?" "what's a PDS?" and "why do I want this?" reading the post, even though I've had some rub-off exposure to both terms from existing on Bluesky. By the end, though, I was nodding along re: genius vision of reinventing Apple News on atproto.
