Late to the game, I consider myself a novice user trying to learn what I can about FreeBSD, OpenBSD, & everything else I find interesting during my spare time.
Spending my leap day upgrading all the things.

Can anyone take this sweet dog?
My parents took him in temporarily so his owner wouldn’t kill him (ugh), and have taken care of him for a while now.

Unfortunately, they sold their house and are moving somewhere he cannot go.

He’s submissive around people and other dogs. When he met our 4 dogs, he just rolled over to show his belly.

If you can take him in and give him a permanent home, please let me know.

We are in the Dallas area, but will gladly drive a few hours to meet up with someone.

Our neighborhood kitty is hanging out with me! 😍
Killing time walking around the mall. At Dick's Sporting Goods and holy shit do they have an insanely huge inventory of those overpriced, Yeti status symbol coolers. Like half the store is fucking coolers.

Ok, so my SSD zpool finished its scrub with zero errors. This SSD zpool had a zfs dataset replicated to the corrupted dataset on my other suspect zpool. If there is no corruption on the SSD zpool, then at what point was that data corrupted on the suspect zpool? I can only guess this corruption occurred while the dataset was being replicated. Next question: A hardware fault, bug, or something else?
Welp, I crashed my home server again — but this time while deleting a specific zfs dataset which I believe was corrupted. This might finally explain why my zfs scrubs on that zpool were causing kernel panics. While this suspect zpool is offline I'll scrub my other zpools just to make sure they are healthy. Thankfully my suspect zpool isn't super important and has no irreplaceable data.
I began to experience weird issues while using Spotify on my phone last week. Couldn't figure out why it would run like crap, taking forever to load and not loading album covers. A few other apps also gave me some grief, but not like Spotify. Clearing app cache and storage didn't help either. So after performing a whole system restore on my phone and still having problems I discovered by happen chance that it was only the Micro SD card being corrupted that cause all my headaches 💩
