Uh, yeah. Apparently I forgot to say anything here about getting the other instance going.

Not that I really post a lot, but if you want to follow me or whatever, I'm at @zoranu now.

I'm going to keep this account, just in case things don't go well with the new instance.

I've been trying to get an instance started on that laptop for about four hours now.

I'm done fighting it. It's just not worth it. I thought this could be a fun little side project, but it has been fighting me literally every step of the way.

Okay. Fine. I'll admit it.

Self-hosting an instance might not be the best idea. Especially given the connection issues we've been having today.

Another update

Overslept, by several hours.

Coughing, runny nose, headache, and I haven't dug out a thermometer yet, but feels like a possible fever as well.

I absolutely hate it, but I've got to do the responsible thing and not go to the con and spread whatever this is around to everyone.

Status update: We're not feeling so great.
Hoping it's just from being too stressed today. I'm afraid to even think about what it will do to sis if we have to cancel at the last minute due to being sick.

Guess we'll see in a few hours.

Well, she's not the mess she was earlier, but she still wants to sit back for a while. I don't blame her. Today has been unpleasant, to say the least.

Anyway, we haven't had anything to eat in quite a while, so gonna remedy that. Afterwards, hopefully get to bed early. Tomorrow morning is simultaneously too near and too far away.

Hello again.

I'm back in charge, holding things together the best I can. @indirectferret is off in a metaphorical corner crying right now.

The only thing I can think to do is reassure her that there's only a few hours left. Then we'll be on the road, hopefully with a couple of stress free days ahead.
