I did get thrown by the flashback scene cold open - I thought it was young Jimmy watching his dad work. In retrospect I'm impressed at how they got someone to move and walk exactly like a younger Mike would.
I guess the drug dealer house gunfight is the very definition of "something happening" but it didn't happen TO Nacho, it happened AROUND Nacho.
Surprise Marc Evan Jackson appearance! It was odd to see him in a role with no comic element whatsoever.
Otherwise seems like a setup episode. Not much happened. They made a point of not having anything happen.
I enjoyed last night's finale episode but I feel like they've hit a ceiling as to how ridiculous the show can get. I guess after you've had a montage of exploding Jesuses, something sliding out of a disembodied anus, and literally Hitler, there's only so spectacular you can go.
I hope they have a bunch of Hoover clones lined up.
