I’m a zombie there as well.

Threads is too zucky for me.

Renewed my professional license today.

Changing my email with the agency was pretty much more difficult than the original licensing exam.

Today I ordered my first optional glasses, two sets of reader glasses. Much much less expensive than the heavy pairs I’m used to.

But I’m still writing this on my phone, no correction no problem.

I’m looking forward to losing these glasses…

Did the final lens adjustment today, and am now waiting for the hyper-dilation to recede. Doc says we hit the targets, and my eyesight will now be, overall, 20/20 and no correction required. Slight variance, right eye is adjusted for distance vision and left eye is adjusted for close up vision, mostly. We leave it to Mr. Brain to balance the difference. Astigmatism is gone.

I sometimes find myself trying to push up my glasses, which are not there. I chuckle.

56 years of wearing glasses behind me. Oh, I'll probably get some readers for nights and for fine work. But when they get lost or break, I won't be SOL. Tomorrow I can go out in the sun without UV protective glasses and with a big smile on my face...
