Went backpacking in Desolation a few weekends ago. We almost didn’t go looking at the smoke forecast, but day of took a chance and I’m so glad we did. Clear all weekend.

I’ll miss it but the East Bay roads require much wider tire clearance.

Spent way longer than desired wrenching on bikes this afternoon but I’ve fixed ! A number of my problems !!
Added problem solvers handlebar mount so that my front light fits on top of my handlebar bag on the road bike. And improvised a short term chain lock holder for when I don’t have a pannier or front bag on my e bike, a source of consternation lately.
Update made an experimental mushroom miso from violet chanterelles found foraging
