The UI was by far the easiest part of The Interviewer thanks to SwiftUI. Simple screens with text and buttons, animated transitions, shape animations, and no super high-volume lists to deal with - this is where it shines.

Finished Hyperion and its sequel yesterday. First books in ages that brought me to tears. I guess now that I’m a parent a father/daughter subplot is all it takes to do me in.
My kingdom for an “excise autolayout and ungroup everything in this frame” button in Figma.

And it's up! The Interviewer helps you practice interviews for any position. Even I was surprised by how helpful people found it during testing. I'm really looking forward to people using it.

Trying out this pre-order thing. If you're interested in helping me get the word out when it launches next week let me know!

"Remem is merely the first of a new generation of memory prostheses, and as these products gain widespread adoption, we will be replacing our malleable organic memories with perfect digital archives. Within our minds, each of us will be transformed from an oral culture into a literate one." - Ted Chiang, Exhalation

I'm convinced that putting an expensive computer on your face won't become mainstream until businesses start getting them for employees in large numbers. It was the same story with cell phones and computers before them.

People have to experience the benefits before committing to the costs. (And I say this as someone with none of these devices.)

Still conflicted over this. My gut says the average person will think it’s a nice change but the incongruence with the rest of iOS still makes me cringe. Makes me question my biases.
