Last weekend, I jailbroke my Kindle following the instructions from https://kindlemodding.org/.

It was easier than I expected, and now I can sync all kinds of ebook formats to it and install additional software (e.g., an alternative reader, a Libby client or even Linux).

It made me feel like a proper hacker and inspired me to draw this comic using all the pop culture clichés there are for depicting a *real* hacker. 😄

Ich war gestern beim Info-Abend der Vollgut eG, wo man uns durch Teile der ehemaligen Kindl-Brauerei geführt und dann vorgestellt hatte was sie planen mit den Flächen zu tun.

Als Bewohnerin von Neukölln bin ich super froh, dass dort nicht noch ein Shopping-Center, Luxuswohnhaus oder teures Bürogebäude entsteht, sondern bezahlbare Räume für das Allgemeinwohl.

Socialising can trigger anxieties in me, I would replay certain situations over and over in my head and ruminate on whether I could have done or said anything differently. My brain feels like it's on fire, I can even hear it buzzing.

I’ve learned to be kinder to myself during these ruminations and also just to be amused by what I sometimes ruminate about. To paraphrase the comedian DeAnn Smith: “Instead of saying I suffer from anxiety, I’d rather say my brain sparkles from imaginary dangers!” ✨

I went to watch “The Clock” at Neue Nationalgalerie today and it was amazing!

However, 2 incidents spoiled the experience a bit:
1. an old man aggressively shooshed a couple that was quietly discussing the art piece. 2. when I calmly pointed out to a tall old man who placed himself in front me that he was blocking my view, he hissed, “Well, I have to stand somewhere, don’t I?”

It’s so weird to me how often aggression is the default reaction for some people, in interaction with strangers. 😕
