Mia. A lost (or dumped) gray kitty that lived in the field behind our house summer 2021. Heat, storms and hunger kept her close enough for food and water, but it wasn’t until mid-September that she worked up the trust and courage to start coming around for more.

She lead the charmed life of an over-indulged princess her last few years, and I was her “person”. Kidney disease took her just a few weeks ago.

Here she is, one last time in full princess mode. #caturday #catsofmastodon

Mia, the other woman in my life. And sometimes even more disappointed in me.

Until Mia showed up a couple years ago, this was a two cat house with Henry and, allow me to introduce, Milo.

Milo is 6 years old and still very much a kitten. He likes to sleep in closets and no worries about getting locked inside, after just a couple months he figured out how to open the door to get out. It took ME three years to figure out why the closet doors seemed to be open.

Here he is, Mr. Photogenic with the curly tail.

Making her debut on any social media platform is the ever lovely, always cute and terrifyingly affectionate Mia.

Mia came to us by way of being a stray for at least a summer two years ago. She now lives the life of the feline princess she believes herself to be. #cats #caturday #catsofmastodon
