Parasites.
In any healthy system, hoarders would be viewed like the parasites they are. And taken care of, forcefully.
Pandoc is the swiss-army knife of the document formatters, allowing you to convert dozens of formats from one to another, merging MarkDown texts, TeX templates, CSL styles, BibTex collections, YAML configurations and more.
It lets you meticulously configure your document outputs to your own liking. I feel so empowered with it.
In short, so much power on your hands, or one hand.

Comet isn't competing with Heroic Launcher, it's extending its functionality by enabling achievements, cloud saves and possibly multiplayer via GOG Galaxy Services inside Heroic Launcher (and other launchers as well).
@venthewolf @gamingonlinux Would be really nice, but unfortunately we're talking about Square Enix.
