Zanaida is Black American female composer, conductor, vocalist, and clinician. Her compositional style can be described as classical, energized, soulful, harmonically colorful, rhythmically driven, heavily modal with touches of pop, progressive rock, and African elements. Zanaida was born, raised, and educated in Southern California on the unceded lands of the Gabrielino-Tongva people.
