I don't really want to 'Reject' someone who sent me a Follow request. It just seems so . . . rude.
But I checked out their posts and I don't care for what they're posting. I don't want to Follow them. Will that 'Follow Request' stick with my account the rest of my life til I either accept or 'Reject'?

You can delete the audio file you uploaded to this site. I can listen to it but I can't (haven't found a way to) DL to save it. There is a little 'down' arrow on the lower right of the box with your image but all it seems to let me do is listen to the audio. I can't save it to my laptop hard drive.
There. I think that's a better description of my difficulty.

@BrentToderian One of our FAVOURITE parts of BigCity is public transit, especially to avoid parking at destinations.

Takes too long busing out of residential 'satellite' areas to connect w trains.

Alternatively need + parking at train stations to park THERE & continue by train.

@Rasta We've had police come to us to check backgrounds of people wanting to enter RCMP
I'd be curious what perameters were 'no go zones' & career killers.
What responses wld be an end to an application?
Some pretty weird ppl I wldnt want walking around w weaspons/ammo who want to be a cop.

Aternatively, are they TRAINED to be aggressive & supercilious once they get to Depot?

Or, once posted/hired, do long time Alpha male colleagues push them to be more aggressive than necessary?

The whole 'Acorn' TV came out of the blue today. I'm kinda whammied

Partner is already apparently days ahead of me reading up on things. Apparently resistant to some streaming service called Roku because of the bad rep it has for data mining.
Partner apparently keen on some Nvidia??? (spelling) device that apparently will be better at data protection and somehow allow access to Acorn & Britbox.
I'm totally flabbergasted & out of my league. This Nvidia Shield is a hardware device??

@trendless You're a genius! I DID figure out how to clear the cache (easy once I reminded myself), cleared 1.GB, and voila . . . mastodon.social now will let me take screenshots. Thanks for relieving me of the headache😅

@trendless Thanks for the tips. This is just the first afternoon I've spent on this platform and I'm still so far behind the 8 ball I don't know what i'm doing. In April I seemed to have opened up a couple of accts. I'm not sure which is which or really what locals I'm dealing with. It took me a decade to halfways navigate Twitter. I guess 1 afternoon on Mastodon isn't surprisingly confusing for me. I'm grateful for your exchanges today which helped me along the way.
