Can someone post the full article in a comment? I tried workarounds to read the full article but nothing worked.

Is there a way to hide the thick status bar?

Is there a way to hide the thick status bar? - Lemmy.World

This command belkw isn’t working in adb to to force immersive mode. Was wondering if there are any workarounds. The status bar is such a waste of space on my Pixel 10 Pro Fold. I tried in Settings>Display>Display Size reducing the slider but didn’t help. adb shell settings put global policy_control immersive.full [http://immersive.full/]=*

Fair enough. But I wasn’t picturing them simultaneously doing it.

Enshittification is a contagious disease that spreads slowly.

Why?

What about investments?

Loading prepaid debit cards at gas stations sounds like a rough life. I’d like to think that I’d have more conviction for privacy if it came to that, but everyone has their line I guess.

Ppl say this with such conviction but what about your bank website? What if it becomes industry standard and you have no other options? Just going to keep all your money in cash?
Really appreciate your feedback. I’ll try it! Never heard of it before.

Do you know if it works well with GrapheneOS?

I was using Traccar and that worked well until moving to GOS and then background updates wouldn’t work.

I tried owntrack and nextcloud but never got it to work.
