Aussie folks who wear stockings - where is a good place to buy them? I want opaque tights, and some with colours and/or patterns. They should be robust because I am accident prone and plan to wear them with sneakers.

Update: I've had heaps of recs for https://snagtights.com.au and they look awesome!

TIL the Alexander Turnbull Library in NZ has a guide to LGBTQ+ language to use in their collections and it's called... Homosaurus. This is amazing. https://natlib.govt.nz/blog/posts/whats-in-a-word-describing-lgbtq-collections
The Parramatta Powerhouse's new website makes me feel like I'm having a panic attack. Surely this has some major accessibility issues.

Hi fedi! I'll be looking for a new Test Lead / Quality Coach role after the Christmas break so please  for reach. I am Sydney based, and am ideally looking for something remote anywhere in Australia, or if it is in Sydney, max 2 days per week in the office.

About me:

I have over 15 years of testing experience, including over 10 years in leadership roles*. I have always been hands on and have acted as a quality coach in my teams. I have started up new QA departments at 10 companies and have worked with teams to roll out agile methodology. I have experience with testing for websites, apps, APIs and data.

*I am not a coder and am not looking for a role building frameworks or writing automated tests.

I know Newtown is a place for it, thanks folks, but that’s nowhere near me whatsoever. Northwest Sydney or CBD at the furthest.

I'm seeking recommendations for a hairdresser.

Where: Northwest Sydney or closer to the CBD as long as they're near public transport.

What: They can do interesting haircuts like mohawks or undercuts.

I'm near Rouse Hill and don't drive much. I'm currently just going to a run-of-the-mill salon and every haircut comes out the same and boring even if I ask for something interesting.

I'm looking for data on the Greater Sydney Area which shows the average temperatures of suburbs, with the idea of finding out what the hottest and coolest parts of the area are. Any ideas on where to find that? (I can't find it on the BOM's site)
