Partially checked off a bucket list item today when we took a short detour and visited Metropolis, IL. I wish we had more time to spend as it was just a “jump out of the car, take some photos, and get back on the road” stop.

As a lifelong Superman fan, this was so cool. I will be back one day.

@mighty_orbot @yakk0dotorg It’s not my type of music, so I don’t know anyone outside of Kendrick Lamar, and him only because of the ads during the show. I enjoyed it for what it was and hope it pissed off the president, who was there in person, like it seems to have pissed off others of his ilk.

Honest question. If republicans say they are textualist in reading the constitution, why are they supporting executive orders at all? I know it’s been accepted as a power forever, but where in the constitution does it say that’s even a thing?
