So, I took this week off, to get my mental health back. Felt close to burning out and I somehow ended up in a Tipi tent, preparing dinners on campfires. 😂

This was a great weekend and we are returning home today where I’ll dig a 5m big hole for a pool. This will give me some time to think as well.

Spend the morning tweaking and getting this graph 'just right' in Home Assistant. Displaying my current usage, solar output, produced energy and net usage.

I am such a numbers geek, love to have all these stats about our house and making sure that I can crunch them into a single chart.

Slowly migrating my Zigbee house to be fully Hue compatible with motion sensors at the most handy places. Never thought it would be that fun 😂

Things always get out of hand so quickly…

Today I will finish building the water reservoir for the toilet and hopefully flattening the walls.

I had sleepless night about this project 😂, but getting some DIY done in my spare time feels good!

Levelling a floor is nerve wrecking. You want it to be perfect and when pouring the stuff it doesn’t seem so level.

But it worked out fine! It takes some time to fully dry but it looks amazing. 2nd picture is the floor we will be putting in.

Also got my final batch of posters for my office (I think).

It needs to get a bit less ‘office’ in that space. So this is the first step.

So, next house project is the toilet and a small hallway leading there.

When you remove floor in our house (like tiles here) even more but older tuff shows up, it’s so cool 😀.

This old vs ‘new’. All going to be replaced with PVC flooring soon.

So I started a side project yesterday. I want access to some simple details about my house using a small screen (thanks for infecting me @Bas ).

Publishing info on an already running MQTT, having a tiny website subscribe to it and display it. Also doing vice versa as I want to send simple commands to Home Assistant as well.

Don’t mind all the values that seem off, there seems to be a small bug somewhere.

Also pictured: energy crisis.

So, I am redoing most of the electrical work in our home. Which means working with PVC piping , which I love to it seems.
So, we have these curtains in front of our back and front door, which our dog loves to lay under, but he’s also very interested in everything that happens inside the house.
