installed linux on my laptop last night and was pleasantly surprised with how smooth it was.
installed the nvidia drivers and all was working, wasn't expecting to have such a smooth experience with hybrid graphics
only issue i had was inconsistent refresh rate, turns out it I had to set the GPU to performance mode in nvidia-settings which i couldn't do through wayland
changed to x11 and all is well

Went back to windows 10 after using 11 for almost a year and it's crazy just how much faster 10 is
I should probably look into LTSC when EOL hits

windows 11 is so bad that I'm honestly considering looking into mac in the future
finding out that the reason explorer is slower is because of the top bar with the path made me so angry
