@georgetakei As you are from the USA my answer needs to be lengthened for you.
At 40C, I would stay in the shade, wear s hat and not run around much. At 81C I would expect to die.
For you at 4.4C, would wear a coat and at 27C I would take the coat off and get back in the shade!

@joshuaphilll In the 1930s, the UK had a disturbing rise in fascism. Like today, they had people they wished to punish for being in a particular ethnic group. Unlike today, they liked to emulate the smart uniforms of their Nazi heroes. The method of combatting them was laughter and mockery.
The same applies today, Trump hates being called weird and we will continue to laugh at them because the best way to fight hate is with mockery!

@Nonilex When Musk announced he wanted to buy Twitter, he said it was because he was a "free speech absolutist". I think this mad people wonder if this involved the usual US misunderstanding of what free speech actually is.
What we have seen is that his misunderstanding is that nobody is allowed to block opinions he agrees with, no matter how noisome they are and if he doesn't agree, it is fine to block them.
He is not a "free speech absolutist". I=He is merely a bigoted Conservative!

I imagine that the prime minister can blame the mental health of this 17 year old who did all those stabbings upon cutbacks by his predecessors any possible drug connection on the loss of experienced police officers.
When I heard that he was the child for immigrants, my first thought was the EDL and Nigek Farage would have a "good" time stirring up hatred. It seems that I was right.
Other than stand up and point out ars***les, which I do, what can we do as a society?

When I heard of those stabbings, my first thought was about the mental health of whoever did it.
Is it a result of all the people who used to look after young people being fired by the Conservatives?
When I heard more, I wondered what he was on. Many experienced police officers were made redundant. Is this another result of that?
Then I heard that, although he was born here, his parents weren't. My final worry was the EDL, Farage and the like - sadly, that came true. What should we do?
