Gosh, this place is so much nicer than Twitter. A little bit of added complexity and a shortage of egomaniacal billionaires really helps to weed out the low-effort users!
@MicroSFF the Ea Nasr stuff kills me. In my archaeologist days, I was a researcher on the Ur Digitization Project and the internet memes have given me life. But, for the record, he gets a bad rap.
@steelcat @Bookhunter77 that makes sense, since everything is hosted locally and I guess the app is working a bit like a podcatcher.
@Bookhunter77 well, like the real world inspiration for the app, I’m sure it will evolve to be less hairy over time.

@martinweidauer maybe he DOES love it. Just because someone owns something, doesn't mean they take good care of it. Ask any of my gardening equipment, and my garden.
