Nobody really likes decentralization. Every pleb has had a wet dream about usurping and then abusing power for their own gains. People love and need centralization because they all dream of usurping it one day. It's necessary to maintain a visage of hope for the poor peasants.
I can’t stand BlueSky. It’s far far worse than X and just as bad if not worse than the old toxic Twitter where literally everybody is enemy with everybody and everybody’s blocking and cancelling everybody. BlueSky is doing all that, and adding everybody is an incel or a nazi on top, and everybody’s celebrating who gets blocked there. It’s absolutely fucking nuts over there. At this point I think microblogging is dead.
I don't know what this Stanford MBA who published infographics with no paper to back up the research knows about ghost engineers, what I do know is the past couple of unicorn companies I worked for with 2-300 engineers did not require 5 layers of managers between frontline and C-suite.
