I outlined a dystopian adventure drama novel a while back, but I’m going to set that aside and write something about a dude who goes to live in the woods and teaches squirrels writing, agriculture, and becomes their king.
I need this a LOT.
Here's a controversial opinion.
A lot of people believe the theory that Vlad the Impaler was Bram Stoker's inspiration for Dracula, and countless derivative works of fiction now hold that premise as canon.
But there is no evidence of that, it's all conjecture, and there are even alternative theories regarding the identity of the historical figure that inspired the character.

In my writing, I often touch on topics of conflict and war, because I think conflict, and how it is resolved, makes fiction interesting. In real life, however, I don't want war. I want to see respectful diplomacy and peaceful cooperation, because I believe the greatest human achievements came about through collaboration, not competition. I'm allowed to dream, am I not?
