My first time tying a bowtie. Not too shabby. Just practicing though. Don't worry. I won't go out with a bowtie and t-shirt. I need red flair to go with my black shirt for a choir performance, and figured it was time to learn.
Finished up the figure proportions section of my online #drawing class. Figures with twist, clothes and foreshortening. I'd like to go farther with the pirate and do details and inking.
My proportions were way off in the first draft, but I got it sorted out after drawing guide lines. Also a chance to break in my my new XP-Pen drawing tablet. #drawing #krita
I completed another section of my gamedev.tv drawing course. I feel like I'm making progress. #drawing
Working on my drawing class again. I'm trying to do a super hero style. Still need to do the shading and highlight layers, but I'm pretty happy with it. Lots of room for improvement. Character is a teenager who can control electricity.
Finally finished the laser cut Enterprise model. Looks great on the mantle! I got it from here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1902315

I added instructions! I recently discovered that some people are selling my design files as their own. While you are free to make and sell models from my designs, the files themselves are a gift to the community for teaching me so much and should remain that way. Don't be a jerk. If you really enjoy this model and want to throw a little tip my way, buy the file on Etsy. https://www.etsy.com/listing/782860599/star-trek-uss-enterprise-laser-cut I couldn't find a good laser cut model of the original USS Enterprise from Star Trek so I spent the last month or so making this. There was a lot of trial and error and many late nights and wasted plywood and MDF. It isn't exactly to scale but I did my best with the tools and materials I'm using. I've included a CDR, DXF, DWG and PDF files. I'm using CorelDraw X7 and it stinks at any format other than CDR and PDF so those might be the only ones that work right for you. This is designed to be used with 3mm plywood or MDF.

#Destiny2 finally finished my pvp placement matches and got this nice looking weapon. Seems like a decent roll, but I'm no expert. It was fun to play matches with folks my level rather than getting stomped over and over.
I enjoyed the new exotic weapon mission in #destiny and the new weapon looks fun as well.
Found this in my downloads folder. Still true!
Back from a short trip to Eastern Washington. Beautiful country, especially with snow.
