One good thing about Independence Day here in the US today was I was able to get out and touch grass without worrying about work. Everyone needs to set work aside at times and reconnect with the outer world.

I was able to get an assigned mentor through my company’s program and I can definitely say it has helped me level up as an engineer. It’s amazing what having access to a senior staff level engineer can do to help your change your mindset towards building all the things.
