Mexican Grand Prix 2023 – Qualifying
Dave Robson, Head of Vehicle Performance: Despite only minor changes to the conditions and the setup, we had a very different performance between the two sessions. The performance was strong in FP3 but in Qualifying both drivers struggled to find the same level of grip that they had exploited in FP3. Added to the difficulties at the pit exit, Qualifying was much more difficult than we had hoped.

Mexican Grand Prix 2023 – Practice
Dave Robson, Head of Vehicle Performance: We had a very productive day and were able to test numerous options before the rain started in FP2. Our pace was very strong in FP1 with Alex immediately happy with the car balance. Whilst this was great to see, we fully expected the others to catch-up during FP2. Mexican Grand Prix 2023 – Preview
Dave Robson, Head of Vehicle Performance: The circuit in Mexico City is characterised by the altitude; sitting 2200m above sea level means that the air pressure is low. United States Grand Prix 2023 – Race
Dave Robson, Head of Vehicle Performance: After Leclerc and Hamilton’s post-race disqualifications, we come away from Austin with double points for the team for the first time since the 2021 Hungarian Grand Prix. It’s also Logan’s first point in Formula 1 and he becomes the first American to score a point since Michael Andretti at the 1993 Italian Grand Prix.

United States Grand Prix 2023 – Sprint
Dave Robson, Head of Vehicle Performance: We had a much stronger day today. In contrast to yesterday, and perhaps helped by the mandated use of the Medium compound this morning, we were on the right side of the fine margins and Alex was able to progress through to the final stage of Sprint Shootout. Logan found it a little more difficult and couldn’t get the 2nd lap on the tyres in Sprint Shootout 1.
