@skinnylatte I have them already, the universe clearly wants me to make laksa!
@skinnylatte thanks, I think I only need rau ram/laksa and some fresh turmeric to duplicate that recipe. I foresee a visit to new may wah in the morning!
@skinnylatte I'm a bit late to the laksa party, but that looks amazing. Any chance you could give a pointer to a recipe for this style? Looks similar to a laksa/curry mee recipe I saved from rasamalaysia.com a long time ago, but that one seems to have vanished from their site.

@jef it's a Zeeker Mix, but customized for Waymo. Chinese company I'd never heard of -- Geely.

Doors open to the front and rear, sort of suicide but on arms like city bus doors rather than hinged as there's not enough room on the side panel for slider tracks. No B pillar so it's one big opening when both doors open.

The wheels are pushed about as far to the corners as is possible, I suspect it handles well for a heavy-ass EV van.

@jef how come Waymo gets the cool futuristic Chinese EVs and we don't?

Unless you're a great white, in which case there's a wide variety of chubby treats sunning themselves on the rocks.

Zoinks! Nice little jolt in the Addition
@skinnylatte thanks, I think that will tip the scales in Hai Ky's favor for me as well. OTOH, this may simply be justification to eat at both and compare!

@skinnylatte are Hai Ky and Thai Nghiep in SF fairly equivalent, or would you recommend one over the other?

And thanks for that Nguyen article, now I need an excuse to go to LA.
