De Nederlandse wegen, tunnels en bruggen zijn er beroerd aan toe, en genoeg geld om alles op tijd te vervangen is er niet. Gaten in het asfalt en metaalmoeheid zijn politiek gezien ‘niet sexy’, maar er is meer aan de hand: al meer dan een eeuw houden we er geen rekening mee dat het verval van onze wegen en bruggen een serieuze kostenpost is.

Hey, I’m reaching out to the #blind community here on Mastodon. I need your help in assisting a customer on my website who is blind.

They’ve reached out to me via messages on Etsy, asking how tactile my fidgets are. They want to know if my fidgets (2 in particular, I can link you) are detailed enough for a visually impaired person to enjoy. I feel unqualified to answer this question without consulting others with lived experience. Further, I’m dyslexic and autistic, and worry that I might describe something inaccurately.

They’ve requested I send them a highly detailed written description of what features can be tactically felt on the fidgets they want. I really want to help, but I’m unsure the best way to do this. Your help would be immensely appreciated.
