@Gargron and balloons. That way we can make them fly over twitter’s HQ in sf.
@dancingdogs my way of saying finding good (relevant/reliable/safe/etc) content easily. What I hope is for a more visual UI/X than the current search engine results we’ve been getting (here and elsewhere like google) for the past 20 years.
@donncha @sandofsky Twitter is a permanent equation: source creates divisive content retweeted by gazillions of #bots from Far East and #russian bot farms. 10 years ago people still believed in the ‘algorithm’ story, but we’ve had Cambridge Analytica since. #mastodon will never reach that definitive blueprint because of its #infrastructure (though the risk of illegal servers is high). With this said, #indexation needs to become a thing soon if mastodon is to last.
@ryanford you mean Twitter?
@auschwitzmuseum glad you’ve migrated.
@mrvapor if only they’d just leave us alone.
@baloo been in that position too with reg to h1b. Just awful, but not all h1b’s are made equal. As cruel and unbalanced as it is, I do think the policy is right. It is unfortunately how the policy is used singularly by businesses that is the real problem.
@alexhammy209 @seb fact is I did do that yesterday, but no resps so far. In any case, I’m assuming the platform architecture must share common features across servers, eg AI for semantics and nomenclature, so it’s probably something that needs to be done by mastodon in Germany. Right?
@Gargron it’d be great that you work on banning nudity (pornography) and links to terrorist organizations asap as these are rampant since the #twitter exodus. #mastodon #fediverse what’s the future?
@seb I have noticed a vast amount of nudity and links pointing to terrorist organizations. Is anyone moderating the server???
