How to check if Proton VPN has switched locations? - sh.itjust.works

I have Proton VPN and qbittorrent running on Windows 10 with qbittorrent bound to Proton interface. Every now and then Proton will reconnect in the background which means the port changes and the IP address changes. How can I monitor Proton for these changes and either a.) update qbittorrent or b.) use Pushover to notify me that a change has occurred?

Bill proposes ending seasonal time change in Manitoba - sh.itjust.works

A Manitoba MLA has introduced a bill that would eliminate the province’s twice-yearly clock change.  Ron Schuler, MLA for Springfield-Ritchot, brought forward Bill 214, The Official Time Amendment Act 2025, in the Manitoba legislature this week.  If passed, the bill would end the seasonal switch between standard time and daylight saving time, keeping Manitoba on daylight time year-round.

Infinite scroll still not working on 0.19.13 - sh.itjust.works

Infinite scrolling not working was reported here (https://sh.itjust.works/post/48482678 [https://sh.itjust.works/post/48482678]) and a few other places. It seemed like upgrading to 0.19.13 would be a potential fix for the issue. Well, the footer says we’re on 0.19.13 and infinite scrolling still isn’t working for the Active or Hot filters when browsing All. What’s the next step?

Swapping to POE switch - sh.itjust.works

I live in a house that has CAT 5 cable in the walls running to wall plates in various rooms. Would it be possible to remove the existing regular switch, replace it with a powered POE switch, and then plug in a POE device into one of the wall plates? Also, for the non-POE devices already plugged into wall plates, would they be okay? I’m trying to wrap my head around the interoperability of POE and non-POE and struggling.

Question about traffic using Cloudflare tunnel - sh.itjust.works

Let’s say I setup some subdomains and then point them to my home server via Cloudflare tunnel. If I use one of those subdomains from my personal PC on the same network as my home server, to watch a movie for example, is all of that traffic going out to the internet and then back? Or does all the traffic stay internal once the connection has been made?
