@johne I upgraded our masto.host plan this morning. We had hit the database limit on the old one. I also added ElasticSearch for full-text searching.

I’m moving to Oaxaca, Mexico! I’m happy to continue maintaining denvr.social but it might be a good idea to have a co-admin since I won’t be a Denverite soon. Any volunteers? I can help out with the technical details.

iPhone pro tip: If you wish the worse-than-pointless camera control button didn’t exist, go into settings -> camera -> camera control -> accessibility and then you can turn it off completely. Gain back that inert right edge of the device that is 1000x more useful than the insanely finicky garbage that is the camera control.

I setup a few relays in the denvr.social instance just to put a toe in the water:

This means content from these tags / instances will get pushed to denvr.social more proactively than it otherwise would. But obviously at some point it becomes a traffic & storage burden. So I want to be slow and deliberate about what we add here.

But are there any other tags or instances folks would like to show up more on denvr.social?
