The Big Event today was this: thanks to Andy Skaggs, who conducted the rehearsal, today I had a piece read and rehearsed by the United States Navy Band. The recording I got was of the rehearsal, so I can’t share that, but - and I cannot overstress this - HOLY CRAP THE NAVY BAND THE SAME GROUP DOC LOUDER PLAYED WITH REHEARSED SOMETHING I WROTE.
Not bad for a kid from Pinhook.
