Thinking of moving this account to my new .art one at @wefail
rather than double post my work. I put CWs on all my political art anyway because I know nobody wants to wake up to a screaming zombie Thatcher first thing in the morning.

It will probably go wrong though and the transfer will set on fire. I will have a look.

A few years back Bobby Gillespie went on This Week where Andrew Neil constantly talked over him with bile and tried desperately to belittle his politics. At the end of the show Andrew asked Bobby to join him in a fun little dance, to which Bobby just stared through him for all of us.

Bobby owns #1 of this print.

This is Ronald at my front door.

This is Ronald, he was born to be bad.
When I was 18 and on the dole I ran away from Thatcher and lived in Los Angeles (I found a free way to get there). I made lifelong friends with a local who loved my paintings and encouraged me to make more by buying me the lovely Schmincke tin set in this photo. I've kept it all of my life and eventually painted Thatcher with it. The circle of life.

My most well known work, banknotes. I didn't decide that and you never really know what piece of art will stick with people until its out in the world. I've spent weeks on some pieces thinking I was making something profound, only for two people to end up looking at it and one to say 'It looks like [some other thing by some other artist]'. It's all very unpredictable.

My Thatcher note was the first and I enjoyed long process of making it so I then made the others.

“Afternoon Light”.

This was taken back in November 2021, at a seaside hotel i was staying at when i was sent by my company for a possible temporary stationing out of town.

People say this hotel was scary and “haunted”. I didn’t care and just strolled out for an afternoon walk alongside the rocky beach. Took plenty of photos and will post more of the beach some time.

Taken with my #googlepixel3 and edited in #lightroom.

I wont get into the politics of Morrissey, I know there are still die-hard fans out there. I was one too and his solo albums were often background music while I worked. I think I had to face the truth around 15yrs ago and I guess it shouldn't but it does stop me enjoying those solo albums now. That brings up more problems I suppose, because many of my favourite artists probably have horrendous beliefs.

Maybe I could think of Your Arsenal as a Mick Ronson album.

A morning walk up to Bryngolau, 'the hill of light', Pontypridd, for a Sunday sermon with creation. The flock were ambivalent.
Portrait of my boy. I don't keep much of my art but this hangs in my house. Conte Crayon and drawn in 2007 I think. He left me in 2019 and absolutely broke my heart.
